How it works

  • Engine Check90 minutes. We score your marketing across all eight parts and agree the build order. You leave with a one-page build plan, whether or not you go ahead.
  • Weeks 1 and 3Foundations, then Strategy. Strategy always comes before tactics.
  • Weeks 5 to 9Lead capture, content and quality checks, email and nurture, in the order your Engine Check says matters most.
  • Week 11Measurement and rhythm. Then you run it yourself.
  • Between sessionsTwo to three hours a fortnight. You build and test on real work. I review it in the next session.

Who you'll work with

I'm Dan MacInnis. I've spent 25 years in marketing, worked with more than 500 small businesses, and I'm a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute. I also run a small business, so I build these systems for myself first.

I'll push back when something won't work. That's the job.

Questions

Do I need Claude?

Yes. The engine is built inside your own Claude account. In the Engine Check we'll work out which plan suits you.

Can I use ChatGPT instead?

Not yet. The build currently runs in Claude only.

Who owns what we build?

You do. It lives in your Claude account and your files, not mine.

Do you do the work for me?

No. You build, I coach. If you'd rather hand it over, have a look at Build Projects.

How much time does it take?

Six 90-minute sessions, plus two to three hours a fortnight of building and testing between them.

What if the Engine Check shows I'm not ready?

Then I'll tell you, and you keep the build plan. The Engine Check is useful on its own.
